The Military Rifle Journal
covering military rifles throughout the ages

Welcome to the home page of The Military Rifle Journal, a bi-monthly newsletter dedicated to the identification, usage and history of the world's military rifles.

The Military Rifle Journal was first published in January 1991.  Each issue is 29 pages long and consists of news/information, articles, and ads sections.

The news/information section includes letters, questions and answers, reports on new rifle imports, book reviews, and anything of interest to the military rifle collector and shooter.

The article section covers such topics as the history of various military rifles, new rifle acquisitions, shooting, restoring, reloading, museums featuring military rifles, etc.  All of the articles are written by subscribers and much of the information is not available elsewhere.

The ads section includes for sale, for trade, and wanted sections, as well as information on upcoming meetings of interest to the members.

The MRJ is published using solar and wind power in Arizona.  We support SB 1070.

Watch for our new pages about off-grid homesteading and self-sufficient living.
